Xicato and EnOcean have designed interoperability between the Xicato Intelligent Module, Generation 4 (XIM Gen4), and the EnOcean 2.4 GHz BLE portfolio of battery-free, energy-harvesting switches. The combination of EnOcean’s energy harvesting wireless switches with the features of the XIM Gen4 allows users to create and control simple or complex lighting scenes and effects. Xicato XIM and XTM modules are designed for museums, retail stores, and hotels. The solutions enable wireless, maintenance-free control, and XIM Gen4 is available in fixtures from several lighting manufacturers. XIM Gen4 can be programmed to respond to any combination of Bluetooth low-energy switches, motionand lux sensors, and even 1 to 10 V or DALI wired control. Groups, scenes, and states are easy to program into the XIM’s themselves.
