Courtesy: Big Ass FansThe Powerfoil X2.0 industrial fan introduces an airfoil system—a system that combines patented airfoils and winglets with patent-pending AirFence technology to increase overall coverage by 28%. The winglet improves airfoil effectiveness by eliminating efficiency-robbing turbulence at the tip, while the AirFence captures air that would otherwise slip off the end of the airfoil. Certain features of the original Powerfoil X remain, including the time-tested Nitroseal Drive gearbox for durability and protection. This gearbox features <11 arc minutes backlash HeliCamber gear technology, SKF tapered roller bearings, a 2.5-in. hollow output shaft, Simrit double-lipped output seals, and lifetime synthetic oil. It is available in sizes of 8 to 24 ft.
