Carlo Gavazzi’s ICB series inductive proximity sensors enable a broader range of applications by extending the sensing range up to three times the standard sensing distance. Courtesy: Carlo GavazziExtended ICB12, ICB18, and ICB30 sensors provide sensing ranges up to three times the sensing distances of standard M12, M18, and M30 cylindrical inductive proximity sensors: 10 mm for M12 sensors, 20 mm for M18 sensors, and 40 mm for M30 inductive sensors. The microprocessor-based technology allows final calibration after the assembly, enabling temperature stability, reliability, and repeatability. The ability to reprogram the microprocessor opens up opportunities to customize the sensor to specific OEM requests with up to 2,000-Hz operating frequency.
