Heat pump scroll compressor

Danfoss offers the Performer PSH heat pump scroll compressor.

05/22/2012

Danfoss’ Performer PSH heat pump scroll compressor features innovative liquid injection technology that delivers a wider temperature envelope than most heat pumps. Four models offer a heating capacity range of 38 to 77 kW at 19.4  to 122 F. The compressor’s 149 F saturated condensing temperature allows for safe hot sanitary water production and comfortable space heating, even with old radiator systems. Evaporating temperatures as low as -22 F means the compressor can be applied in colder regions. Optimized for R410A refrigerant, the Performer PSH also incorporates an operating control system that pilots the liquid injection technology and ensures reliability by keeping the compressor within operating limits. The system also stores operating data and events for improved serviceability while reducing downtime and warranty costs. In addition, an insulated, integrated crankcase heater results in sound levels as much as three decibels lower than equivalent products.
