They are also designed to reduce maintenance, downtime, and premature coil failure. The Freeze Block Coils are designed with built in pressure and temperature valves to automatically discharge a small volume of water and reset when exposed to freezing conditions. The coils are pre-assembled and tested and the valves are designed to reseat after discharging to prevent flooding after the coil thaws.
