Events such as the massacre at Ft. Hood trigger introspection and investigations by building owners and facility managers concerning the preparedness of their own properties. Consulting engineers are often subsequently asked to participate on mass-notification projects. To help with these efforts, CSE's editor-in-chief, Michael Ivanovich, has compiled a bibliography of articles that CSE has published in recent years that cover various aspects of MNS design, including NFPA standard 72, integration of fire alarm systems with MNS, and vulnerability analyses.
