Ty-Rap cable tie installation tool from Thomas & Betts reportedly eases user fatigue with such features as an adjustable grip space that fits any hand and an anti-recoil cut-off mechanism that reduces vibration when installing cable ties. Device also includes a high-low handle force mode—which is said to have the lowest required handle force to achieve the highest cable tie tension available in the market—and interchangeable tool heads that cover the 18 to 120-lb range of cable ties. A 3608 rotating nose eliminates the need to twist the tool when the cable tie orientation is rotated. Device is made of rugged high-impact polymer, is lightweight with a soft-grip over-molded handle with rounded edges, and has a wide insertion gap to make loading cable ties easier.
