As companion manuals to the International Building Codes, the Building Officials and Code Administrators has released two new reference books, the International Building Code Commentary and the International Code Interpretations.

As companion manuals to the International Building Codes, the Building Officials and Code Administrators has released two new reference books, the International Building Code Commentary and the International Code Interpretations.

The commentary includes the entire 2000 International Building Code text, along with illustrations, charts, graphs, historical information and explanations on how to apply code requirements.

The second book is a compilation of code interpretations for five different codes: building, fire, mechanical, plumbing and fuel gas.
