Ben Coe joins Syska Hennessy Group’s Atlanta office

Syska Hennessy Group brings in health care and mission critical engineering industry veteran for key Southeast location.

Syska Hennessy Group Inc. a global consulting, engineering, and commissioning firm, has announced that Ben Coe, PE, LEED AP, has recently joined the company’s Atlanta office location. His role in the office includes managing the Atlanta mechanical engineering team and overseeing work on a number of critical facility, health care, and additional high-performance projects for clients throughout the Southeast region.

Coe brings more than 30 years of engineering, project management experience, and practice area leadership, having supervised projects throughout all phases during a career that spans designer and design-build team leader as well as the role of property owner representative.

Syska Hennessy’s strategic hiring of Coe serves as another vital step in the office’s growth of its roster of professional experts as well as broadening project opportunities. The Atlanta office is focused on high-performance engineering, consulting, and commissioning work throughout the region. They have designed and managed work on a number of significant projects for key clients, including the new College Football Hall of Fame, multiple T5 Data Centers, Lockheed Martin, C Spire Data Center, and Verizon.

Coe was most recently with QTS Inc. (Quality Technical Services) as vice president of engineering. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, is a professional engineer registered in 13 states, an LEED Accredited Professional (AP), and an Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer (ATD). He is an active member of ASHRAE as well as other professional organizations including 7×24, AFCOM, BCA, USGBC, and past member of the Uptime Institute Network.
