Trend Control Systems USA debuted IQeco, its BACnet-based unitary controller that is available with an optional actuator and pressure sensor for use as a VAV controller. The VAV versions come with a pre-loaded strategy; however, all IQeco products are fully programmable with the Trend system engineering tool (SET). With a maximum of 17 universal inputs, digital outputs and analog outputs, the IQeco cost effectively picks up the point count for any sized installation. The IQeco release includes Trend’s IQ3xact BACnet interface node controller (BINC), which provides an interface between an MS/TP trunk with IQeco controllers and the rest of a Trend building management system (BMS). The IQ3xact BINC offers read/write capability to Trend’s front end software, log retrieval, alarm delivery, and strategy and firmware downloads. It also consumes significantly less power so owners can save on operating costs.

In addition to three versions of the IQeco unitary controller and two versions of the IQ3xact node controller, the IQeco system release includes a version update to 963 Supervisor, Trend’s intuitive, real-time user interface for the BMS that enables users to monitor equipment or building services and change the way the building is controlled through the 963 graphical display.
