ASHRAE and the Building Owners and Managers Assn. Intl. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in recognition of shared technical interests to foster superior building performance.

ASHRAE and the Building Owners and Managers Assn. Intl. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in recognition of shared technical interests to foster superior building performance.

Both of the organizations will work together to identify opportunities for shared operation services, identify opportunities to collaborate on product development, give presentations at their respective conferences, encourage continuing dialogue between the two organizations at national, regional, and local levels on industry issues, and commit to support each other and fully participate in standard development areas.

The agreement is centered on ASHRAE standards 62.1, 90.1, 180P and 189.1P and in conjunction with the ANSI consensus standards development process.
