The Air Movement and Control Assoc. Intl. (AMCA Intl) approved a revision to AMCA 211-05 Certified Ratings Program %%MDASSML%% Product Rating Manual for Fan Air Performance that provides a program for certifying induced flow fan’s aerodynamic performance rating.

Induced fans are centrifugal, mixed flow or axial fans that have an outlet airflow greater than their inlet airflow. They are used extensively in laboratory exhaust systems.

AMCA Intl. is preparing for its 2007 Midyear Meeting, scheduled for May 6 to May 8 at the Sheraton Chicago Arlington Heights, Ill. Paul L. Kasriel, senior vice president and director of Economic Research of the Northern Trust Co., will serve as the featured speaker.
