The Trailblazer family of air cooled scroll chillers use an all-aluminum microchannel heat exchanger technology, in conjunction with compressor equipment to reduce the amount of required maintenance for users. Courtesy: Daikin AppliedDaikin Applied's Trailblazer family of air cooled scroll chillers are designed and built to surpass ASHRAE 90.1-2013 and FEMP 2012 standards. They also qualify for LEED refrigerant management credit. The Trailblazer family uses an all-aluminum microchannel heat exchanger technology, in conjunction with compressor equipment. This helps reduce the amount of required maintenance. The chiller is available in sizes of 30 to 180 tons. Its factory installed options and custom pump packages are designed to decrease engineering and design efforts, and speed up contractor installation times and commissioning.
