ACG's 9th Annual Conference on Total Building Commissioning will include workshops and certification exams.

03/01/2013

Registration is now open for ACG's 9th Annual Conference on Total Building Commissioning. The theme for the conference, scheduled for April 16-19 at the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare, is “Maximizing Cx & Energy Management Opportunities.”

The general session on Thursday, April 18, includes case studies of commissioning projects, a discussion of how the commissioning process is being integrated into building codes, a session on developing detailed energy conservation measures, and advice on the commissioning business.

The CxA Workshop & Certification Exam will be held Wednesday, April 17, and will feature a discussion of the commissioning process in addition to serving as final preparation for the certification exam.

The Energy Management Process Seminar & Exam is scheduled for April 16- 17. The intensive 1-1/2 day seminar will help candidates understand the commissioning-based energy management process in the ACG Energy Management Guideline and how it can be applied while serving as a final step for the Energy Management Professional (EMP) exam.

The conference will conclude on Friday, April 19, with two half-day seminars targeted at new business opportunities for commissioning firms. One seminar will show participants how to make a business case for an energy management project, and another will be led by experts in the rapidly growing area of building enclosure commissioning.

Conference participants can earn six hours of professional continuing education credits. CxA Workshop Attendees can earn an additional five hours of education, and EMP Seminar attendees can earn an additional 12 hours.

The deadline to register for the conference and to reserve hotel rooms at the discounted group rate is Monday, March 25. For more information about the conference and to register, visit the annual conference registration page
