Amit Bhansali, PE, CEM, BEMP, 32

Bhansali is a senior mechanical engineer at WSP in Dallas. As a project manager and lead mechanical engineer, he has been involved in a variety of projects including health care, data centers, commercial buildings, medical office buildings, and office spaces. In addition to design and project management, he serves as an energy-modeling leader. At WSP, he provides leadership, mentorship, and enthusiasm and has become well-respected in the firm. His primary responsibilities include senior project management and lead mechanical engineer. Bhansali is responsible for not only the design and coordination of his own projects, but also mentoring and guiding those who report directly to him. He also plays an active role in assigning project teams and orchestrating work sharing throughout the global offices within the company. Bhansali currently serves as president of the North Texas Chapter of ASHRAE International Building Performance Simulation Association. He is also a current national member of ASHRAE. He is an active member of the Miracle Program Fund at Children’s Hospital and has been volunteering his time since 2011. The organization helps raise funds for the benefit of children. He is also involved with Godparents.in, a nonprofit e-platform that links many nonprofits in India to donors. Bhansali serves as head of donor entitlements for the organization and has been working hard to arrange funding and resources for children in India to get an education. The organization actively supports 400 children each year. He helps as a volunteer at Irving Bible Church every year for the food camp program by arranging and helping to distribute food bags to shelter homes in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
