The 2014 40 Under 40 winners know the importance of passing the torch in order to ensure innovation from future generations. Despite their hectic schedules of work and family life, they've all managed to leave room for award-winning engineering, mentoring, and community engagement. Originating from Canada, India, Turkey, and all across the United States, many of these industry leaders have made it a goal to implement sustainable practice—from their professional accreditations to their mentoring of students and to their involvement in industry organizations. This year’s winners are avid travel junkies, mountain climbers, cheese connoisseurs, nature lovers, and artists from unique backgrounds that are bound together by their common goal of mentoring others for a sustainable future.
