Stuart Hill, PE, 38

Engineering Manager, Dynamix Engineering, Columbus, Ohio

Ohio University, BS Electrical and Computer Engineering

Stuart Hill has quickly risen through the ranks and proven himself to be an invaluable leader in any position. After graduating from college, he started his career at an underground mining company, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and two uncles who had worked in Pennsylvania coal mines. Hill then became a field applications engineer at a start-up company, which saw tremendous growth during his tenure. From the start of his career, Hill has been sought after by several notable firms to mentor new electrical engineers and develop client relationships. He has experience leading projects in the health care, government, education, and public works industries using single-line diagrams, fault current analysis, lighting analysis, medium-voltage design, and generator designs. Hill makes sure all of his design practices are sustainable, regardless of whether the project is going for LEED certification. After just 3 years at Dynamix Engineering, Hill was promoted to engineering manager and now administers a team of five individuals while developing marketing strategies. Stuart also advocates sustainability practices among his clients, teaching them how maintainability is as important as energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. When he is not working, Stuart enjoys going on dates with his wife, whom he met and started dating in his junior year of high school. He may even be found spending one-on-one time with his daughters at the mall.
