EGSA elects 2011 president

Generac Industrial Power dealer John Kelly, Jr., founder and president of Kelly Generator and Equipment Inc., was elected president of the Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) for 2011. He assumed office on Jan. 1.

EGSA is an organization dedicated exclusively to on-site power generation. The Association makes, sells, distributes and uses on-site power generation technology and equipment.

The president of EGSA is elected by the board of directors. In his new role, Kelly will preside over meetings of the full board as well as the executive board, and oversee the two annual EGSA conventions. Prior to being elected president, Kelly served a four-year term as an EGSA director, followed by three years on the executive board.
