03/21/2011

The Generac Bi-Fuel generator starts on diesel fuel and adds natural gas as load is applied to provide redundancy and extended run-time capabilities. Compared to similar diesel-only units, the Generac Bi-Fuel reduces exhaust emissions such as nitrogen oxides particulate. The Bi-Fuel generator is part of the Generac’s Modular Power System and controlled by the PowerManager System Controller, which integrates control of bi-fuel operation with all other generator control functions. It is a parallel generation system that offers scalability, redundancy, and reliability in a single-source system.
