The Versatec Base from WaterFurnace International combines high efficiency and value-added features in a compact water source heat pump for water loop and geothermal applications. The Versatec Base exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 efficiencies while using R410 refrigerant. The heat pump offers application flexibility for both retrofit and new construction projects. Units feature a reciprocating single-capacity compressor paired with a PSC blower motor to provide high efficiency while ensuring quiet operation. The Versatec Base also includes an optional two-position water valve and an automatic water flow control valve. The heat pump’s cabinet features a small footprint, making it ideal for retrofit applications. Other features include a 1-in. MERV 4 disposable filter or an optional 2-in. pleated MERV 13 for LEED certification, high-static PSC blowers, and an optional rotary dial-type, internally wired, nonfused disconnect.
