Victaulic’s patent-pending Virtual Truck Loading software extends BIM coordination to the trucking process to maximize jobsite delivery efficiency. By virtually laying out trucks in advance, fabrication work can be sequenced accordingly and material handling reduced. The software is inter-operable with Autodesk Fabrication CADmep 2013 and allows users to import fabrication spools to virtually lay out trucks while tracking the center of gravity load. The application also provides cribbing details in advance, enabling fabricators to build and place cribbing prior to the pipe spools being placed.
