Plug ’n Save Energy Products has announced the launch of the PV Solar Shutter, a custom-designed power-producing window shutter. Set in design-friendly bamboo louvers, the PV cells collect power from the sun and, using grid tie inverter technology, channel it directly into the building’s electrical system. PV Solar Shutters are portable and install like a conventional window covering so they can be used in those places not historically suitable for solar installations within office buildings and rental units.
