The PowerPlex panelboard from Appleton is targeted at Class I Zone 1 and Class I Division 2 industrial environments. The device transfers its flamepath protection from the enclosure to individual circuit breaker housings and the component-level protection allows for installation flexibility and safety. The panelboard features a main breaker, which eliminates the need to add a cast enclosure. The panelboard also features external actuation, a branch amperage rating up to 60 A (1-pole), up to 40 A (2- and 3-pole) on 240 V, and up to 150 A (3-pole) on 480/600 V.
