Micro plate heat exchangers

Danfoss’ Micro Plate Heat Exchangersvcontribute to increased energy efficiency and improved environmental performance in chillers, heat pumps.

Danfoss’ Micro Plate Heat Exchangers (MPHEs) contribute to increased energy efficiency and improved environmental performance in chillers, heat pumps, and a variety of industrial applications. MPHEs feature a unique channel plate pattern, including a dimpled surface that improves flow across the plate and use of the surface area for better heat transfer. When compared with traditional brazed plate heat exchangers, MPHEs have an exchanger index value up to 56 higher under the same working conditions. Danfoss offers three ranges of MPHEs: C-range optimized for chillers, to work as condensers or evaporators in air- or water-cooled systems; H-range MPHEs for use in ground- and air-source heat pump systems; and D-range for generic range. All three MPHE ranges come with a complete program of optimized evaporator, condenser, and single-phase products along with dual circuit solutions. They are fully compliant with regulations such as PED and UL.
