Cree’s XLamp XP-L2 LED delivers up to 7% more lumens and 15% higher lumens/watt (LPW) than its previous generation in the proven 3.45 mm x 3.45 mm XP package. The new LED is Cree’s highest performing high-density discrete LEDs. The XP-L2 improves the performance of existing lighting designs with an easy drop-in upgrade, while reducing the size and cost of new designs and creates innovative new solutions to address applications ranging from tracks to stadium lighting. The XLamp XP-L2 LED raises efficacy of warm white (3000 K, 80 CRI) at 85 C up to 171 LPW. The XP-L2 LED is available in EasyWhite 2-, 3-, and 5-step color temperatures from 2700 to 6500 K to enable luminaire color consistency.
