The 3,250 kW diesel generator set from MTU Onsite Energy responses to transient loads and quickly recovers from voltage and frequency dips associated with cycling loads and motor starting. The model 3250-SC6DT2 generator set's reserve power capabilities also permit the set to accept it full-rated load in a single step in accordance with NFPA 110. The set features a 20-cylinder Series 4000 G83L diesel engine that is EPA Tier 2 certified.
