MTU Onsite Energy’s MTU 10 V 1600 engine boosts fuel efficiency, lowers exhaust emissions.

www.mtu-online.comMTU Onsite Energy adds the MTU 10 V 1600 engine to boost the fuel efficiency and lower exhaust emissions in its 450 kW and 500 kW standby-rated Series 1600 generator sets. The 10-cylinder EPA Tier 2 engine includes a 12 V, an 8 V, and a 6-cylinder inline used in other power generation nodes. The new 450 kW and 500 kW Series 1600 10 V generator sets have standby ratings of 450 kW and 500 kW, and prime ratings of 400 kW and 450 kW, respectively. Both generator sets come with many standard features that previously required custom ordering.
