Consulting-Specifying Engineer's Product of the Year (POY) contest is the premier award for new products in the HVAC, fire, electrical, and plumbing systems engineering markets. The annual reader-choice Product of the Year awards were created to provide CSE readers with information about the top new product in their fields.  

How it works:

Who: Manufacturers of products released during the previous calendar year (2009).
What: New or significantly modified products used in the design, construction, and/or specification of non-residential, commercial construction projects.
(note: for the 2010 POY contest, only products that were available to the public during 2009 are eligible)
Where: All information regarding the POY contest can be found at www.csemag.com/poy. Enter your product's information, pay your entry fee, and submit your product's photos by using the official entry form. 
When: Entry forms will be available at www.csemag.com/poy on Dec. 1, 2010. The final day to submit entries will be Feb. 24, 2011.
How it works: Manufacturers submit their complete entry via the 2010 POY entry form page,  pay the entry fee by using the secure link for credit card payment, and send additional information (photos, technical information, performance data) to CSEPOY10@cfemedia.com

Complete entry consists of:

• Payment method for the $295 entry fee
• Product information, which includes technical brochures, product specifications, and verfiable performance data
• A TIF, JPEG, or EPS file containing a 3 x 5 in., 300 DPI, hi-res product image
• A verification of the the product introduction date; i.e. press release, internal memo, conference/tradeshow brochure.
