Employee-owned, full-service engineering consulting firm, CP&Y (Dallas, TX) acquired The Wallace Group (Waco, TX), an engineering, architectural, survey, and subsurface utility engineering firm. The Wallace Group is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of CP&Y and will operate as The Wallace Group, a CP&Y company. Link to details

Ayres Associates (Eau Claire, WI) and SAA Design Group (Madison, WI) have entered into a letter of intent for Ayres to acquire SAA. The acquisition is scheduled to be completed in early 2015. Link to details

Two mechanical and electrical engineering firms, MCW Group of Companies (Vancouver, Canada) and Hemisphere Engineering (Edmonton, Canada) announced they are in late-stage negotiations to form a new engineering entity.
