Landscape architecture, construction management, real estate and hotel development firm Synterra (Philadelphia, PA) has acquired the infrastructure business of interior design, architecture and engineering firmNelson (Philadelphia, PA).  Nelson had acquired its infrastructure practice area as part of its October 2012 merger with H2L2.  Link to details


Professional and technical engineering and consulting firm NV5 (Hollywood, FL) acquired environmental and hydrogeology firm Dunn Environmental(El Dorado Hills, CA). Link to details


Integrated consulting, design and construction services firm Nor-Son(Baxter, MN) has merged with custom home-focused architectural firmEskuche Associates (Deephaven, MN).  Link to details


Global infrastructure services firm Balfour Beatty (London, UK) has sold its UK facilities management business to GDF Suez Energy Services (Paris, France), a global provider of energy efficiency and environmental services.  Link to details


Process industry-focused technology and services firm Metso (Helsinki, Finland) acquired EPT Engineering Services (Guindy, Chennai, India), a provider of design, detail engineering, conceptual design and 3D modeling services to the power, pulp and paper, oil, gas and petrochemical industries. Link to details


Professional services firm Sullivan International Group (San Diego, CA) acquired Analytical Services Inc. (ASI) (Columbia, MD).  ASI is a professional services firm specializing in environmental, safety, health and energy related services.  Link to details


Construction firm Moss & Associates (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) acquired the ongoing operations of Florida-based Peter R. Brown Construction from global design, engineering and project management consultancy Atkins(Tampa, FL).  The acquisition includes three of Peter Brown's Southeastern offices and the firm will operate as Moss Construction d/b/a Peter Brown Construction.  Link to details
