The Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) has opened registration for the EGSA Spring Conference. It is scheduled for March 25-27, 2012, in Austin, Texas, and will focus on the economy at large. The theme is "Finding Opportunity in an Uncertain Environment." The EGSA Keynote Speaker, Mark Sanborn, will focus on this subject with his presentation "Up, Down or Sideways: How to Find Opportunity in an Uncertain Environment." The theme of the presentation and of the convention as a whole is how to adjust and realize opportunities in a market that is often changing direction and focus.

Other topics will include the use of social media, the future of genset controls, and how to prepare for unexpected events.

The convention itself is being held at the Hyatt Regency Austin and registration is currently open. Member registration fees are $525 and non-member fees are $675 until February 17, 2012. Further registration details, along with the form, can be found here.
