This week Morrissey Goodale reported three deals in the United States and three international deals involving the United Kingdom, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, France, and Chile.

While still close to the record levels of last year, the pace of US AE consolidation has cooled somewhat over Q2 2013. Globally the pace of deal activity has slowed markedly.

7/29/2013

Leading engineering and consulting firm Michael Baker Corporation (Moon Township, PA) entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) (Alexandria, VA), a provider of mission critical services and solutions to Federal agencies and an affiliate of private investment firm DC Capital Partners. Under the terms of the agreement, Baker shareholders will receive $40.50 per share, representing a 37% premium to Baker's closing share price of $29.60 on July 26, 2013.
