Challenges

Robert Derector Associates (RDA) assisted Condé Nast with lease negotiations in their game-changing corporate headquarters relocation to One World Trade Center. Highlights of the project included a world-class kitchen, servery and cafeteria, magazine kitchens, test kitchens with private dining, multipurpose rooms, and a conference center. RDA worked closely with the building owner Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to streamline their detailed on-site review process for this 25-floor project while maintaining the project schedule. The project is being designed to achieve U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold certification.

Solutions

Integrating the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design amongst various private and public entities, resulting in an extraordinary headquarters for the anchor tenant in the most high-profile office building in the world.
