Primera Engineers expands eastern U.S. office

Primera, a Chicago-based full-service engineering and design firm, has hired Affan Abdullah, PE, as a Senior Project Manager in Power Delivery. Abdullah will be based out of the firm’s new King of Prussia, Pa., office.

With more than 12 years of experience, Abdullah has worked in both the utility and regulatory industries. As an electrical engineer for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Electric Reliability (FERC), he maintained, ensured, and promoted the reliability of the U.S. Electric Grid through sound regulation and reliability standards. Prior to his position at FERC, Abdullah spent several years at PECO, an energy delivery subsidiary of Exelon Corp.

Abdullah earned his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science degrees from Villanova University. He is also a Registered Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania.
