The ASCO MVPTS family is comprised of three standard base models: Series 977, Series 974, and Series 973. They can be outfitted with protective relays and a wide range of options and accessories, such as communication and connectivity capabilities, and power monitoring and metering. All are rated 3-phase, 3-wire and 50 or 60 Hz. Each medium-voltage power transfer switch in these series are rated at 1200 amps (with amp breakers only) and are UL 1008A compliant. The ASCO Series 977 showcases a 25 kAIC short-circuit rating and the ASCO Series 974 is rated at 40 kAIC. The ASCO Series 973 showcases a single enclosure configuration and is rated at 5 kV at 600 amps.
