Schneider Electric’s PowerLogic PM5500 power meters have BACnet IP protocol as a standard feature. These meters can simultaneously communicate with building and energy management systems using both BACnet and Modbus protocols. The meters can allocate energy usage, perform tenant metering and subbilling, pinpoint energy savings, optimize equipment utilization, and assess the power quality of the electrical network. PM5500 meters’ internal memory stores key information and provides data logging capacities. The meters are available in panel mount with an integrated display (PM5560) or transducer-style (PM5563) with an optional remote display. The meters also include harmonics capabilities, and dual Ethernet ports to daisy chain meters together.
