The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers is proposing an addendum to its Standard 62-1999, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality , which would specify requirements for location of outdoor-air intakes.

Laboratories for the 21st Century is a joint venture of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy to promote better environmental performance of private- and public-sector U.S. laboratories.

Design-Build Project Delivery may not become the method of choice, concludes a recent study by the Natick, Mass.-based research firm, Zweig White & Associates. Firms surveyed this year predicted only a 25-percent increase in design-build revenues by 2003.
