Danfoss’ single entry conversion valves are designed to enable the simple conversion of steam radiators to hot water, which allow building owners to maintain older buildings while reducing installation labor and piping difficulties. The single entry conversion are designed to improve efficiency and control in a steam-based heating system. The design features a built-in thermostatic valve offering control of radiators or fin tube baseboards through a single ½ in. connection. This single entry valve is available for conventional 2-pipe hot water circuits or with a built-in bypass for series piped radiators. The conversion valves are also useful as an alternative method of piping for fin tube or baseboard additions.
