Danfoss has added the ETS 6 to its series of electrically operated expansion valves. The ETS 6 is designed to control liquid injection into evaporates by regulation refrigerant flow by offering 480 steps from fully closed to fully open and uses precise resolution for better control of superheat, even at low flow rates. The ETS 6 is able to adapt to a system’s exact capacity demands and improves energy efficiency in refrigeration, heat pumps, and air conditioning systems. The ETS 6 is compatible with all common refrigerants including R407C, R410A, R404A, and R134a. The ETS 6 also can be used in heat pump systems with bi-flow operation.
