Caterpillar’s 3516C-HD diesel generator, ranging from 455 to 2500 kW, is certified to meet EPA Tier 4 Interim standards. The 60 Hz package is rated at 2500 ekW for standby power, 2250 ekW at prime power, and 2050 ekW at continuous power. This allows for efficient fuel consumption rates and lower emissions for prime power during mission critical applications. It is also optimized for use with the Cat clean emissions module (CEM), which features diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) combined with a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) module. The diesel generator also features integrated electronics for monitoring and protection, as well as an EMCP 4 control panel designed to deliver an intuitive, user-friendly interface and navigation. The generator is scalable to meet a wide range of customer power requirements. Cat Tier 4 generator sets are capable of integrating into larger power systems including Switchgear, UPS, and ATS products.
