Condensing boilers achieve efficiencies in the high 90s, and Cleaver-Brooks offers a full range of systems from 500 to 12,000 MBtu/hr. The tubes in both the ClearFire-C (CFC) vertical and the ClearFire-LC (CFLC) tubes feature patented ALUFER technology that provides the maximum effective heating surface. The tubes are constructed from an inner (fireside) aluminum alloy finned surface and die-fitted within an outer duplex stainless or carbon steel tube. The products are engineered with a modulating pre-mix burner and linkageless control that automatically adjusts the air/gas mixture of the boilers to achieve up to 99% efficiency and 5:1 turndown. The CFC and CFLC are designed with a dual return advantage that does not require a minimum temperature to reach maximum efficiency.
