Code Update

A new standard for installing and maintaining metal cable trays has been produced jointly by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). Entitled NECA/ NEMA 105-2002, the publication is one of a series of National Electrical Installation Standards.

A new standard for installing and maintaining metal cable trays has been produced jointly by the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). Entitled NECA/ NEMA 105-2002, the publication is one of a series of National Electrical Installation Standards.

NECA also has released its 2002 NECA Guide to State Electrical Codes, Enforcement and Licensing. This free reference provides information on statewide code compliance and enforcement policies, state contractor-licensing guidelines and state-agency contact information. The document can be downloaded from www.neca-neis.org/catalog .
