The PEFY-P72 and P96 single-phase ducted indoor units by Mitsubishi Electric Cooling and Heating provide up to 60% energy savings. Courtesy: Mitsubishi ElectricMitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating has updated its ceiling-concealed, ducted commercial indoor units, offering end users adjustable static pressure settings, extremely quiet operation, and high efficiency. These single-phase ducted indoor units (models PEFY-P72 and PEFY-P96) include a new motor that provides up to 60% energy savings over previous generation equipment, and static pressure settings up to 1 in. (with voltage changes) that provide flexibility for duct extension, branching, and air outlet configuration. Other features of the unit include dual setpoint functionality, single-phase power, reduced noise (36 to 46 dBA), and multiple fan speed. The ceiling-concealed indoor units can be used with all of Mitsubishi Electric’s Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) zoning outdoor units and can be monitored through the CITY MULTI Controls Network.
