Courtesy: Ingersoll RandThe Trane Catalytic Air Cleaning System (TCACS) is a standard option with the Performance Climate Changer air handler to deliver cleaner air and better indoor air quality (IAQ) while providing lower energy and maintenance costs and reduced environmental impact compared with conventional air cleaning solutions. The Performance Climate Changer air handler with the TCACS option is ideal for healthcare facilities, offices, schools, airports, and other environments where IAQ is critical. The TCACS uses a blend of three technologies: particle filtration, ultraviolet germicidal irradiation, and a photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) process. It also features energy recovery, airflow monitoring, and advanced humidity control options.
