A Dog's (Medical) Life: Equipment Specs for Vets

The following is a list of the most common items.  Tub table or wet table. A tub table comes in 5-foot or 6-foot lengths, and consists of a grated table with an underlying sink.

While the mechanical system needs of veterinary facilities can vary, hospital installations tend to comprise the same basic equipment. The following is a list of the most common items.

As filtered water is typically needed for some tools, the table has a built-in cabinet housing a water-filter canister. The table also houses drains, water-connection valves and a hot-water system complete with a circulating pump for the heating pad. A hair trap on the drain is highly recommended.
