IPS selects industry veteran to lead Mechanical Engineering Group
Nejat Babür, P.E., LEED AP has been appointed to lead IPS’ Mechanical Engineering Group

Integrated Project Services (IPS), a leading, full-service engineering firm dedicated to helping clients succeed with capital projects and improve operations, welcomed the addition of Nejat Babür, P.E., LEED AP. Mr. Babür will apply his extensive industry and technical expertise in mechanical engineering, HVAC design, operational knowledge and knowledge of advanced technologies to provide leadership to IPS’ HVAC group. His responsibilities include directing day-to-day operations while ensuring excellent service levels and delivering projects of the highest quality.
Mr. Babür brings more than twenty years of industry experience in the execution of capital projects for technically complex facilities. Throughout his career, he has focused on technically complex projects such as pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, food and beverage, chemical, refinery, explosion proof control room, general manufacturing, laboratory and research facilities. His most recent experience was with STV Incorporated as Chief of Mechanical Engineers. Prior to that, he managed the mechanical engineering group at CH2M Hill Lockwood Greene. He has previously been employed with Jacobs Engineering and Acorn Engineering & Consulting, where he was responsible for overseeing the department and ensuring the quality and thoroughness of design and documentation.
Mr. Babür possesses a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering from the University of Arizona, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
