Irvine, Calif. —Model 1054B Chlorine Analyzer is the first in a series of amperometric products that will be expanded to include measurements of chloramines, chlorine dioxide, and bromine. The analyzer uses the company's Model 499A CL amperometric sensor that installs directly in a process line or low-flow assembly. Automatic pH compensation to 9.5 pH is standard. The analyzer is intended for applications where species that react with free chlorine—such as ammonia, certain organic amines, and bromide—are not present. It replaces expensive sampling systems and the associated cost of replacing required reagents.
