The Eliminator 14/24 Series are germicidal lamp and ballast for surface and air purification. The 14-inch lamp operates on 24-volts from inside the air conditioning unit to purify the air conditioning coil, and air stream, reducing the potential of airborne and surface bacteria, mold and other microorganisms in residential and commercial environments. The lamp is available in 14-inch and 16-inch arc lengths and has a five-foot cable from the ballast to the lamp. The Eliminator 14/24 Series enables direct exposure to 254nm UVC radiation, which, when given appropriate exposure time, inactivates the DNA and RNA of microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, mold spores, yeast and protozoa), making them unable to reproduce.
