Foxboro, Mass.— Idaho Falls Power (IFP) recently picked Foxboro Co.'s I/A Series SCADA system to monitor, control, and maintain the power generation, transmission, and distribution system of Idaho's largest municipal electric utility. Using Foxboro's "Intelligent Power Grid" approach, the new SCADA system includes master stations, remote terminal units (RTUs), and advanced applications for distribution load flow, distribution connectivity, switch order management, adaptive load forecasting, and study and simulation.
