Dewberry promotes two to senior associate

Dewberry has promoted Mark Heinrich, PE, LEED AP BD+C, and Brian M. Tanner, PE, CEM, CxA, LEED AP BD+C to senior associate in its Fairfax, Va., office.

Courtesy: DewberryMark Heinrich, PE, LEED AP BD+C, based in Dewberry’s Fairfax office, has been promoted to senior associate. Heinrich has more than 16 years of experience in the design and project management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems within multiple types of commercial projects, including office and residential buildings, retail spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, telecommunications spaces, institutional facilities, central utility plants, and medical facilities. Heinrich received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a registered professional engineer in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Heinrich is also a member of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, the U.S. Green Building Council, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers. 

Brian M. Tanner, PE, CEM, CxA, LEED AP BD+C, based in Dewberry’s Fairfax office, has been promoted to senior associate. Courtesy: DewberryBrian M. Tanner, PE, CEM, CxA, LEED AP BD+C, based in Dewberry’s Fairfax office, has also been promoted to senior associate. Tanner’s expertise lies with the design and project management of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for high-rise base building, tenant, and renovation projects. During his more than 16 years of experience, Tanner has managed the coordination of more than ten million square feet of these MEP projects. Projects include high-rise office buildings, high-rise residential, and mixed-use facilities. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), American Society of Energy Engineers, and National Society of Professional Engineers. In addition he served as president of the National Capital Chapter of ASHRAE in 2006-2007.
